Introduction – Private Capri Island Boat Excursion, Fully Customizable
The Full Day Capri Island Boat Tour by Amalfi in Style is a private guided boat experience, designed as a suggested itinerary based on our local navigation experience and on the natural rhythm of the sea, but always customizable according to guests’ preferences, sea conditions and available time.
What follows is a recommended route, showing how a Capri island day tour by sea typically unfolds. Stops, timing and details can be adjusted in advance, or even during the day, to create a truly personal experience of Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
This is not a standard excursion or a shared cruise, but a full day at sea focused on comfort, slow travel and attention to detail, far from crowded routes and rigid schedules. For the booked hours, the boat is yours.
Cruising Along the Amalfi Coast
The tour departs from the port of Amalfi, leaving behind the Cathedral and the white houses reflected on the water.
The boat follows the coastline, offering unique sea views of Atrani, Conca dei Marini, the dramatic Furore Fjord and Praiano, before reaching Positano, where a first photo stop from the sea is usually made.
On board, a soft DJ set accompanies the cruise, creating a relaxed atmosphere with sunshine, sea breeze and a first toast: the perfect beginning to a private boat trip toward Capri.
Swim Stop – Li Galli Islands
Before heading toward Capri, we stop in front of the Li Galli Islands, one of the most exclusive and unspoiled stretches of sea along the Amalfi Coast.
Crystal-clear waters and a peaceful setting make this the ideal place for the first swim of the day. Guests can relax, float and enjoy the silence of the sea, with soft music in the background.
Capri from the Sea – Grottos and Natural Wonders
Upon arrival in Capri, the experience continues with a complete Capri island cruise, revealing the island from its most spectacular perspective.
From the sea, you will admire:
- White Grotto
- Green Grotto
- Red Grotto
- Wonderful Grotto
The famous Blue Grotto can be visited upon request, depending on sea conditions and waiting times, which can sometimes be significant.
During navigation, you will also see Tiberius’ Leap, Villa Jovis from the sea, the Natural Arch, and many of Capri’s iconic coastal formations that define a true Capri island boat excursion.
Exclusive Swim Stop – Faraglioni of Capri
One of the most memorable moments of the day is the swim stop behind the Faraglioni, Capri’s unmistakable symbol.
Here the sea displays incredible shades of blue, and the atmosphere becomes quiet and intimate. Swimming in this area is a unique privilege, reserved for those experiencing Capri through private boat trips, away from the crowds and ferry routes.
Free Time in Capri (Optional)
Upon request, it is possible to disembark at Marina Grande for:
- lunch at a seaside restaurant
- a walk through Capri’s boutiques
- a short visit to Anacapri
Alternatively, guests may choose to stay on board and continue enjoying the sea in total relaxation, turning the experience into a pure Capri island cruise.
Return Cruise to Amalfi
In the afternoon, the boat heads back toward Amalfi.
The light changes, the sea turns golden, and the return cruise becomes a moment of calm and refinement, accompanied by music and a final toast on board, a fitting end to a full day Capri island boat tour.
